Thanks to Larry Fields, our 2BC students now see more clearly how the U.S. presidential election works. Yet one question remains: who will be the next president?
On Wednesday, June 8, Larry Fields, Information Management Officer of the US Embassy in Luxembourg, paid a visit to our 2BC to help students gain a clearer understanding of the American presidential election. Many aspects were covered, ranging from the differences between Republicans and Democrats, Donald Trump’s sucess, the influence of America’s history on today’s political issues and the definition of a democracy itself. This should give plenty of food for thought to our students, who are now ready to follow the presidential race with a greater awareness of the forces at play!
