On the 4th of May UNITY FOUNDATION visited the ALR, represented by M. Yves Wiltgen, and offered the screening of "Mercy's Blessing" with a connected workshop.

In the context of English class research and discussions about poverty in 3BC, 2DG and 5C, the film provoked reactions to linked issues about lifestyle choices, education opportunities, gender equality, and instigated various discussions with the help of the realistic visual support, representing a rather common situation of a Malawi family.

The central question of the morning was: "Do we always have a choice?"

Unfortunately in many countries the choices in life are limited because of various factors, mainly political, but very often because of a lack of education and knowledge. This is what Unity Foundation is trying to fight by building schools and arranging teacher training on a local basis.
